Press Release - Yorkshire floral designer Serendipity gets a twitter boost from Theo Paphitis

Yorkshire floral designer Serendipity gets a Twitter boost from Theo Paphitis

A Yorkshire-based wedding florist has experienced a major business boost from Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis. Sally Johnson, owner of Serendipity Floral Designs, tweeted Theo about her business during ‘Small Business Sunday’, a social media initiative set up by Theo that runs weekly.

Theo re‐tweeted Sally’s message to his 390,000 followers and as a result  in subsequent days, her business www.serendipityfloraldesigns.co.uk has garnered 20per cent more followers and a surge in enquiries. Her brand is also profiled on Theo’s new website (www.theopaphitissbs.com), exclusive to Small Business Sunday winners.

Sally said, “We’ve been in business for five years and we still work from my home based workshop. I am just delighted to have support from Theo because it’s been tough over the years trying to raise our profile. His recognition has added huge value to our hard work and helped spread the word about what we do to his thousands of influential followers. Enquiries in the past few days have been overwhelming. I'm now very excited to meet Theo in person at his #SBS winners event at Birmingham ICC on 28th November'.

Anyone looking for a re‐tweet from Theo should tweet him about their business on Sunday between 5 PM and 7.30 PM and include the hashtag #SBS. Six lucky businesses are re‐ tweeted every Monday at 8 PM and then invited to enter their profile on the new

website. This is done free of charge and the new website is sponsored by Ryman Stationery, where Theo is Chairman.
