A Wonderful Wedding At Wood Hall Hotel & Spa, Wetherby.

The stunning venue of Wood Hall Hotel & Spa was the setting for Janey & Dean's wedding in November. I first met Janey in January 2012 after she'd accidentally stumbled across my work (another Serendipity incident!) and we got on fantastically. From the outset Janey was full of ideas of how she wanted her dream wedding to look and for nearly a year after was just lovely to work with.
Janey is a full-times facilities Administrator, but realised as soon as Mr.M proposed that she had a passion for weddings and had to tell her wedding journey story to all who wanted to listen. She named her blog 'My Bubbly Wedding' after being caught up in the 'wedding bubble' and decided to document her planning journey and 'wedding finds'. Do pop across and read her lovely site of wedding planning and tips (
Janey chose cream and vintage pale pink as her wedding colour theme and decided on beautiful Hydrangeas and Roses as her main flowers. Take a look at the picture below of her textural domed bridal bouquet, which I designed and created to complement Janey's gorgeous dress. For the traditional 'something old' Janey's grandmother's vintage cameo brooch was attached to the ribbon/lace binding, which finished this off perfectly.
Having worked so hard organising her wedding - Janey had thought so carefully about every aspect. From sourcing a stunning unique handmade tiara, perfect invitations through to cupcake favours, I knew I needed to dress Wood Hall so beautifully to make Janey's dream wedding a reality. So we decorated the venue with candelabras, lanterns, trees, stair bannister decorations, candles and petals. Janey and Dean were over the moon with the results and I have to say this was a wonderful wedding to work on with such a sweet bride. I would like to say a big thank you to Mr and Mrs.M and wish them much happiness for the future x
